Thesis: Fast Gabor Transforms - This project examines and compares some of the more promising of the recent algorithms for the calculation of the Gabor transform. This transform can be used in a wide variety of applications, but has been considered impractical due to its nonorthogonality (and the attendant computational issues). A large number of new algorithms for computing this transform have emerged recently, however, one of which is claimed to be as fast as the FFT.
