EE x96 Final Presentations

Friday, 8 Dec 2017,
Donald Kim Lab, POST 214

The purpose of the final presentation is to describe the final status of your project. This is your chance to show off what you have done this semester and demo you project. The talk should include most of the following:

As before, the presentations will be held in two sessions. The first session with Design Groups A and B will begin at 10:00 am on Friday, 8 Dec and should be done by about 1 pm. The second session with Design Groups 1 and 2 will begin at 1:30 and should be done by about 4:30. The session will be held in POST 214. Presentatin order will be on a volunteer basis during each session. I will try toprovide snacks for everyone between the sessions around 1:30 pm. For these, please limit your presentation to 30 minutes INCLUDING time for questions so we can finish on time.

Each team should submit the powerpoint file for their presentation in their team folder under Resources on Laulima TWO DAYS BEFORE YOUR PRESENTATION, ie by Wednesday, 6 Dec. I recommend all teams practice their presentation several times before your session.

In addition, each team should turn in a report for your project this semester. Reports are due by the time of your presentation session but no later than noon on Saturday, 9 Dec. The requirements for your report are based on the level of x96 you are doing this semester as described here. (You MAY "upgrade" the level of your report if desired).

For EE 496 teams, please turn in a hard copy of your report as well as an electronic copy in pdf format. For EE 396 team reports, please turn in ONLY an electronic copy in pdf format per team for my own archives. I will not publish the electronic copies on the web, but may make them available to future x96 students. Please submit your report in your team folder under Resources on Laulima by the deadline for reports. For EE 296 indvidual reports, an electronic copy of your report sent to me in email is sufficient.

IN ADDITION, for each individual in ALL teams, I would like you to evaluate your team and team members, INCLUDING YOURSELF in a confidential EMAIL to me. Give your opinion of your contribution and the contribution of each member of the team to the overall project. This email is due by the day of your presentation. EE 296 reports and the "what you learned" part of EE 396 reports may be combined with this evaluation email. One more thing... You will have a chance to show what your mouse can do in the full maze on Saturday, 9 Dec from 10:00 am to noon. We will hold the mini-competition at that time as a final demo of your mouse.
