EE 609 Computer and Network Security

  Add to Google Calendar
Date:  Mon, January 10, 2022
Time:  2:00pm - 3:15pm
Location:  Sakamaki B104 (or possibly online)
Speaker:  Dr. Yingfei Dong, Professor

Computer and network security has become one of top two professions in the past 10 years: security and data science.

Although you may have decided on your research topics, security is still one critical skill for your future careers. EE 609 will give you some basic security concepts and practical labs.

For students with sufficient background, we will also add advanced security research topics for projects, e.g., we will have projects on smart contract and blockchain, machine learning security, etc. (AGAIN, at this point, do not buy NFTs or any crypto currencies yet. Unless you have spare change. Crypto currencies still have a long long way to go, but blockchains for distribution consensus can be certainly used in many applications.)

If you are interested in the CyberCorps Scholarship For Service (SFS) program, EE 609 will help you get prepared.

Review the EE 609 syllabus and contact Dr. Yingfei Dong for further information
